Remotly QuickHost lets you manage multiple PCs in your organization and access them anytime — even after a reboot and with no user logged in. To test QuickHost for free, request a commercial trial through the contact form.
Key features
- QuickHost does not require logging in to a Remotly account on the managed machine.
- Connections use connection IDs assigned to each PC running the QuickHost instance (RemotlyQH_.exe).
- The QuickHost instance can be branded with your company logo, colors and name.
- Connections to PCs running QuickHost are allowed only for licensed users of your organization — connections from outside are blocked.
- Device names, groups and per‑user access are managed in the admin panel (show or hide the eye icon next to a licensed user).
Step‑by‑step deployment
- Contact the Remotly team to get a commercial trial license through the contact form.
- Download your branded QuickHost from the commercial admin panel.
- Install RemotlyQH_.exe on the Windows administrator account. QuickHost cannot be installed together with the regular Remotly version on the same account.
- Start Remotly QuickHost.
- Check the connection ID of the machine running QuickHost and add it as a new device in the admin panel with an alias. You can create device groups. The QuickHost connection ID is different from the connection ID of a regular Remotly installation on another Windows account of the same PC.
- Manage admin rights in your user panel and let selected users see company devices in the Admin Mode tab using the show/hide eye icon.
- Enable “Start with Windows” or “Start with Windows (minimized)” so QuickHost works on any user account and after a reboot.
- Select the hardware acceleration used for video encoding and, if required, enable recording of every remote session.
- Connect and authorize your master device (for example your phone or another PC). You can also enable or disable clipboard sharing.
- Use the authorized device to remotely authorize other licensed users you granted access in the admin panel.
- You can install the regular Remotly version on other Windows user accounts; QuickHost itself must stay on the administrator account.
- After closing the QuickHost UI, the Remotly Booter starts and the PC remains remotely accessible — unlike the regular Remotly version.
- Connecting to a PC in booter/service mode does not show any frame or notification on the remote machine.
- To find a device quickly, use the filter in the Remotly main interface or open the grouped devices in the Devices tab.
Mass deployment and Entra ID
For hundreds of machines, download the personalized installer with a ready silent‑install command containing your organization token and roll it out via Microsoft Intune as a Win32 / .intunewin package. Organizations using Microsoft Entra ID can import users from security groups and let access follow group membership — see the Entra ID integration section.
